Why use stone sculptures?

Many fish forage, spawn, and just dig in the substrate in your aquarium. Sometimes decor can become undermined, creating risk to your fish. If you just stack loose stones in your tank, it won't be long until they are knocked over. If your fish become injured it may be impossible to save them.

Stacked stone sculptures are bonded together to form a sturdy arrangement that won't fall apart and injure fish.

We recommend that you embed at least 1" - 1.5" of the rock arrangement into the substrate to give it a firm foundation. Some of our sculptures have slate bottoms to give them extra anchorage, making your fish's habitiat not just realistic, but safe, too.
